The Canon IVY Cliq+ is more of a printer than a camera

Canon IVY Cliq + is a camera and photo printer dedicated to all those who miss family moments printed in the form of photos on your fridge.

Yes, it has an eight-megapixel camera on the front. But the Canon system IVY Cliq + it's more of a printer than a camera. It connects to the Canon Mini Print app via Bluetooth, so you can process photos with filters before printing them with the built-in ZINK printer in 2″ x 2″ or 2″ x 3″ format. There's also a special ring flash to light up the photo and a 2-inch self-reflective mirror injected into the aperture glass itself. The photos are stored on the microSD card and that's why IVY Cliq a great solution for fans of instant photography or those who miss their old Polaroid camera.

Digital photos and cloud storage are great, but if you're looking for something to print fridge door photos instantly, the new Canon camera could be it IVY Cliq + with a photo printer as useful as an unlimited subscription to Google Photos.

IVY CLIQ + takes care of both capturing the photo and making a physical copy. It probably won't replace your Canon EOS camera, but that's beside the point. IVY has a clear purpose: making a physical copy of the captured moment!

Canon is to the camera IVY CLIQ + added Bluetooth through which it can connect wirelessly to your phone. Then use the Canon Mini Print app to remotely capture a group photo. The application is also useful for photo post-production, where you apply filters, frames and text and then print your product right on the camera.

Canon is a bit late to the insta photo party, though FujiFilm has been a leader for some time. But still, it's a nice addition to the segment. IVY CLIQ + will be on sale from April onwards for a price somewhere around 180 euros.
