Did you know that the type of your pet can reveal more about your tendency to be loyal? A recent study has some surprising findings. This defines your loyalty.

Imagine that your choice of pet is not only a reflection of your taste, but can also predict your loyalty in a relationship. Sounds like science fiction, right? Well, research by the website IllicitEncounters.com says otherwise.

According to their data, men who have reptiles such as snakes at home are the most likely to cheat on their partners – as many as 20% unfaithful men have a snake at home. Surprising, but perhaps not as it seems at first glance. On the other hand, those most loyal partners have birds like parrots at home, where cheating is only 4%. Really little.

Cat owners are not far behind snake owners, as 19% recognizes them as unfaithful. Owners of lizards, tropical fish and guinea pigs follow on the scale of infidelity. Interestingly, dog owners who are considered loyal and loving rank in the middle of the scale, as 14% admits to cheating.

Jessica Leoni, representative IllicitEncounters.com and sex and relationship expert, comments: "Reptile owners seem to be really the biggest 'snakes', as cold-blooded as their animals." This statement may express a stereotypical association between the characteristics of animals and the characteristics of their owners.

However, can we really judge someone based on their type a pet? Is this more a case of random correlation than causation? While the research may have revealed some interesting patterns, it's important to remember that fidelity and infidelity are not necessarily species-specific. a pet, which the individual has.

As always, the most important thing is that any relationship is based on mutual trust and communication, whether you have a lizard, a dog, a cat or a parrot at home.
