The 2016 winter holidays for primary and secondary schools will also be held in two parts this year. In 2016, the first to arrive are schoolchildren who go to school in the southeastern part of Slovenia, in Gorenjsko, Goriško, Notranjsko-Krasko, Obalno-Krasko, Osrednjeslovensko, in Zasavje and Kočevje. A week later, schoolchildren from the following regions will have their 2016 winter vacation: Carinthia, Podravska, Pomurska, Savinjska, Spodnjeposavska and other parts of southeastern Slovenia.
