March 28 - Earth Hour 2015 or the day when the lights go out for 60 minutes around the world

Since 2007, March 28 has hosted Earth Hour, an environmentally sustainable campaign, when the lights around the world turn off for 60 minutes at 8:30 p.m. local time. With this move, individuals, countries and local communities draw attention to the necessity of fighting climate change. It is a global initiative organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in which everyone can participate.

March 22 – World Water Day

Water also has its own day - March 22. In 1993, the General Assembly of the United Nations declared this day the World Water Day, which reminds us of the importance of fresh water, its influence on our lives and with which it wants to improve our relationship and management with it. In Slovenia and in Europe in general, drinking water seems to be taken for granted, but if we look a little further, we quickly realize that it is much more than that. This year's theme is "Water is development".
