Concert: Simply Red for the first time in Zagreb

The last time Simply Red stopped in Slovenia was in 2009, when they visited us as part of the Greatest Hits 25 farewell tour. After a few years of musical rest, Mick Hucknall and the gang got together again in 2015 and revived the famous group, whose music is spreading like a virus from generation to generation. On June 22, 2016, they will be calling again in our neighborhood. They are coming to Zagreb. Tickets are already on sale.

Gregorio at Ljubljana Castle 2016

Gregor's Day, the Slovenian version of Valentine's Day, is the day when, according to folk tradition, birds get married, and the day when the first day of spring was celebrated during the Julian calendar. The Coronation of Popeye, the last opera by Claudio Monteverdi, at SNG Maribor

Olympic ReUnion: Cooking with Olympians - flavors of Brazil

In cooperation with the Olympic Committee of Slovenia and the Brazilian Embassy of Slovenia, a series of Olympic events of various concepts will take place in the Grand Hotel Union, where they will connect Slovenian athletes with fans, present Olympic preparations and current events in Rio, and build a bridge between the two destinations - Slovenia and Brazil. The musical One Thousand and One Nights premiered at MGL

Who hasn't heard of One Thousand and One Nights? If nothing else, we came across this collection of Arabic fairy tales, novellas, short stories, and humorous stories in high school literature classes. Well, on March 1, 2016, in the City Theater of Ljubljana (MGL), we will witness the premiere of the two-hour musical One Thousand and One Nights, based on the motifs of the libretto 1001 by Katja Perat.

Concert: Red Hot Chili Peppers are coming to Austria in June

The Marriage of Figaro: Mozart's comic opera at SNG Opera and Ballet Ljubljana

The popular comic opera in four acts The Marriage of Figaro by the Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart premiered in 1786.
