The embankment of the Ljubljanica called Špica, where bathers once thronged and which is located just a stone's throw away from the center of Ljubljana, will once again have a richer restaurant offer as of June 30, 2015. There are now again crowds of people who are not cooling off, relaxing or walking along the Ljubljanica river, but rather catching the sun's rays in the Špica Caffe cafe, which is part of the Kaval Group restaurant chain.

Where not so long ago the constant rumble of printing presses could be heard, today the clinking of glasses, the clinking of utensils and the exuberant laughter of satisfied guests resound.

In June, the renovated Tromostovje cafe came to life again on Prešeren square, which now boasts the image of a comfortable open-air bourgeois living room with views of Ljubljana's greatest sights.
