The Avatr 07 is the new hero of the Chinese electric SUV market, coming from the star trio of Changan, CATL and Huawei. Yes, you read that right – this car has more in common with your smartphone than with your uncle’s diesel Passat. It is available in pure electric (BEV) and extended range hybrid (EREV) versions, and it is priced very confidently – from 219,900 CNY (about 29,000 €), which is almost tastelessly affordable in the “premium SUV with massage seats” class.
