CES 2020: Samsung 8K, MicroLED and the Sero Millennial TV

Samsung MicroLED TV

It's no exaggeration to say that Samsung presented a piece of the future at CES 2020.

Samsung at this year's CES 2020, it proves once again how huge the company is and how many ideas they are able to implement. New smartphones, gaming peripherals, even robot chefs and a shoe dryer. They also attracted a lot of attention with innovations in the field of televisions. We have selected the most interesting ones.

Samsung Q950TS QLED 8K TV

If we strive for minimal edges on smartphones, the same should be true for TVs. Samsung is its awesome QLED panel with 8K resolution inserted into the case with such a minimal edge that it is final the ratio between the case and the screen is as much as 99 percent. In addition, the TV is extremely thin, as it measures in thickness only 1.5 centimeters. Despite its extraordinary appearance and thinness, it still hides a strong one inside Quantum Processor 8K, which together with AI constantly improves the quality of the image and the smoothness of its display. The sound will be regulated by the function Object-Tracking Sound, which will add the impression of cinema sound to the movie experience. TV will be available in three sizes (165 cm, 190 cm and 215 cm), both the price and the start of sales remain unknown.

Samsung Sero TV

With this TV, Samsung probably wanted to appeal to the younger population millennials and generation Z. The essence of TV Shit (meaning "vertical" in Korean) are his abilities easy turning from lying to upright position and simple smart device connectivity, such as phone and tablet. We connect Sera to a smart device via a connection NFC, and on it we watch everything from videos and photos to mobile games, social networks and remaining applications. It is therefore a kind of extension of your smart device.

Samsung MicroLED TVs

One of the hottest technologies in the field of televisions should finally arrive for sale also for the common paradise. Well, of course the first will be TVs MicroLED damn expensive for sure, but that will change quite a bit over the years, as always. Samsung will offer assembled TVs in several sizes, from diagonal 190 cm to the incredible 741.6 cm, if the company's presentation does not lie. This would be quite difficult to fit in the living room. The advantages of MicroLED technology are complete blackness and exceptional color accuracy. In addition, such screens can be absurdly bright (5000 threads) and they do not suffer from image burn-in, as happens with OLED screens.

A speaker module is usually an external solution to the otherwise weak and dull sound coming from our TVs. But since higher-end Samsung TVs already have great sound (verified), the new Soundbar Q800T is just a kind of addition to an already great sound experience. That means they will sound played both the TV and the module at the same time, while conjuring even bigger and more accurate surround sound.

Filmmaker Mode

Filmmaker Mode

This mode will not be exclusive to Samsung devices, as it will be picked up by most TV manufacturers. Its creation was requested by creators from Hollywood, who were becoming increasingly nervous about the freedom that television manufacturers allow themselves in the way their original works are shown. This way will basically run over all the functions of the TV with one click, which are intendedbeautifyviewed content. We welcome this method, because every viewer deserves an equivalent movie experience, but sometimes this particular viewer just wants a little more powerful picture, just like a listener wants a little more low tones.
