China has been suffocating in smog again for the past few weeks. There are alarming conditions in many cities, as pollution with PM2.5 particles (these are even smaller and even more dangerous than PM10 particles, which they warn against in our country, as they penetrate even further into the lungs) exceeds the standards by 50 times. Due to the catastrophic pollution, the Chinese authorities ordered the cessation or operating restrictions at hundreds of factories across the country. From Beijing and elsewhere come eerie footage of cities shrouded in thick, gray and smelly fog.

The authorities are due thick, gray and smelly fog announced red alarm (this is announced when smog is expected for 72 hours or more) and ordered temporarily closure or restriction of operation of many factories (the main source of smog is coal, which is used to produce electricity, and a large share is also contributed by outdated cars that have displaced traditional transport - bike), stopped construction sites and introduced even and odd driving system for passenger vehicles.
