This year's Christmas and New Year's concert of the SNG Maribor Symphony Orchestra will serve us some of the most famous tunes Viennese masters of polka and waltz, and these will also be joined by lively dance compositions based on hot-blooded motifs gypsy music. It was this one that was repeatedly the inexhaustible inspiration of many great composers of opera and symphonic music.

The symphony orchestra of SNG Maribor will be joined by four singing soloists and opera audience favorites Petya Ivanova, Guadalupe Barrientos, Martin Sušnik and Jaki Jurgec. In addition to opera soloists, a concert master will also perform gypsy melodies Oksana Pecheny Dolenc.
