We haven't even stepped into December yet, but the festive excitement is already slowly around us. To make the countdown to Christmas even sweeter, Christmas-themed series are sure to get you even more into the festive mood. In this article, we reveal some great Christmas series that you can watch on Netflix.

Christmas Flow

The Christmas story Christmas Flow revolves around a young and ambitious journalist and a popular rapper who meet in a very unusual situation. They fall in love, but their relationship encounters many obstacles and no one guarantees that they will last. The first look brings some cute and fun scenes that make us think this could be the sweetest Christmas romance on TV.

How to ruin Christmas 2

The South African drama is back with a second season. Last year you were able to meet Tumi, a strange girl who somehow always gets involved in various life situations. During the past holidays, her journey took her to an important family gathering, which certainly did not go as she expected. After making a real mess of her sister's perfect Christmas wedding in the first season, Tumi tries to fix the situation in the new episodes, all with a new love interest.

Elves

The story follows a family of four who want to bond during the Christmas holidays, so they travel to Denmark. However, they do not expect that there will be dominated by members of a strict religious community who live in harmony with fairy-tale creatures, dwarves. When a family member brings home a little elf, the family must devise a plan to avoid a terrifying fight for survival.

Dash & Lily

The story follows the crazy and eternally optimistic teenager Lily, who leaves her little red notebook in a famous bookstore in the hope that someone will pick it up, flip through it and find a challenge in it. That 'someone' turns out to be Dash, a cynical and pessimistic teenager who knows the bookstore shelves by heart. They start corresponding through the notebook, setting challenges for each other to face and leaving the notebook all over New York.

Home for Christmas

Johanne, a 30-year-old nurse, is pressured by family and social expectations to bring a boy to a dinner traditionally held every Christmas Eve. Specifically, on December 1, Johanne announced to her family that she had a boyfriend to bring to dinner because she felt inadequate compared to her brothers. 24 days of speed dating, blind collisions, unexpected lovers, hopes and disappointments that a normal person would never find have begun. The series received overwhelmingly positive reviews last year, with some describing it as a cross between the Christmas classics Love Actually and Bridget Jones, so be sure to give it a shot.
