Our expectations were high when we sat down in the test Mercedes for the first time, as befits a premium brand. We were convinced that the B-Class is a "real" Mercedes as soon as we got into the car. The high-quality and ergonomically perfect fittings, where nothing is left to chance, reminded us in many ways of "those big" limousines from Stuttgart, where the beauties with the silver three-pointed star are at home. The car proved very useful due to its single-compartment design and could easily play the main role in a young family's garage. A comfortable and slightly higher seat behind the wheel gives a good overview of what is happening on the road, the 80-kilowatt diesel CDI engine offers enough torque even when driving uphill due to its two-liter volume, and the list could go on. We were particularly impressed by the spaciousness of the trunk and the fact that after folding the rear bench, the bottom of the trunk remains flat, which was double in the test version. In the city, the active parking assistant (additional equipment) comes in handy, it "looks" for us for a suitable parking space, and when it finds it, it also helps by measuring the distance from obstacles. We were also impressed by the car's sporty exterior, which was conjured up by the optional sports package.
