Car manufacturers occasionally surprise with concepts that, at first glance, do not belong to their usual assortment. You could also say the same about Peugeot's RCZ sports coupe, which has lion-like features, but when you sit in it and start the engine, everything is more reminiscent of a prestigious racing car, such as those designed in Maranello, Italy, or in Zuffenhausen, Germany. The sports steering wheel, sitting low in the leather seats, the sporty short gear lever and the racing sound of the engine, as well as the dashboard covered in genuine leather, all contribute to the said feeling. Even if its gasoline four-cylinder has a small capacity (1.6 liters), thanks to the turbocharger, it is still responsive and powerful (it has as many as 200 'horses' under the hood). Accordingly, the test RCZ was lively and a joy to drive on the highway, with plenty of power always in store. The equipment of the test car was rich: a navigation device, heated seats, parking sensors with a display on the screen and what else you would find. The analog clock in the middle of the dashboard completes the i. What we missed, however, was the ability to connect the iPod directly - the built-in USB port of our iPod was not present and refused to be recognized. We were also surprised by the relatively large trunk for a coupe, but we were a little less satisfied with the rear seats, where it is impossible for taller people to sit, and access is anything but easy. An interesting detail is the two-stage rear spoiler, which opens automatically at higher speeds - well, it can also be opened at the push of a button.
