Recipe for homemade apple pie

Ingredients for homemade apple pie:

  • 400 g of all-purpose flour
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 300 g of butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 baking powder
  • 1 kg of apples
  • cinnamon

Preparation of homemade apple pie:
Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Sift flour and baking powder into a bowl. Add butter, sugar and egg and knead everything into a dough. Form a loaf and wrap it in transparent foil. Put it in the fridge for about half an hour and prepare the filling in the meantime. Peel the apples, grate them, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and mix. If necessary, squeeze them before sweetening. Roll 2/3 of the dough into a circle and cover the greased baking sheet with it. Roll out the rest of the dough and cut into strips. Place the filling on top of the dough in the baking pan, and then arrange the strips in the form of a grid. Bake for about half an hour.
