This year, the Tallinn Christmas Fair was declared by the users of the European Best Destination portal to be the most beautiful Christmas fair in Europe 2019. It can be found on the square in front of the town hall, where there is also a beautiful Christmas tree. The tradition of Christmas celebrations in Tallinn dates back to the year 1441, when they set up right here, on this square the first Christmas tree in Europe. At the fair, we can enjoy the traditional Estonian Christmas cuisine, such as black pudding and sauerkraut, as well as in gingerbread and warm Christmas drinks. You can also buy local handicrafts and gifts for the little ones. The fair in Tallinn is already underway, and will be open until January 7, 2020.

Advent in the Hungarian capital is becoming more popular every year, and the European Best Destination portal placed it on the second place of the most beautiful Christmas fairs in Europe. Leipzig, Germany
The oldest Christmas markets are located in Germany, and the Christmas market in Leipzig has nurtured its tradition since long ago. 1458. One of the oldest Christmas markets in Europe, it is also the most famous Christmas market in France, located in the heart of Grande Île, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are more than 300 wooden houses in the center, where you can practically find everything related to Christmas - from sweet treats to Christmas decorations. Special mention should be made of the Christmas tree, 30 meters high, which exceeds the roofs of the houses with its height, and the multitude of lights and pendants creates a special light. A charming fair with a handful of stalls takes care of intimate festive atmosphere, and visitors can enjoy mulled wine by an open fire and watch the reflection of Christmas lights on the water. The fair is open this year from November 30 to December 31.
