The story of the Volkswagen Polo began in 1975. The Polo conquered the world in five generations, which sold more than 16 million units. The year 2001 was a turning point, when the Polo got its characteristic round headlights, making it the best-selling Polo of all time. The year 2017 brought us the now sixth generation of the Polo, which once again set out to seduce the masses. Here is the new Volkswagen Polo (2017), which is already driving on Slovenian roads.
New Volkswagen Polo (2017) it does not change the already proven and successful recipe, but only adds and updates its design and technology. The new design follows Volkswagen trends and has lines very similar to those worn by its bigger brother, the Golf. It's polo gained 8 centimeters in length and has because of that wheelbase longer by 9.5 centimeters. This is important especially from the point of view of the spaciousness of the passenger cabin, which is now bigger, and the luggage space has also increased, and this for as much as 70 liters. The new Polo can be safely compared to the fourth-generation Golf, of course in terms of size and not technology. This one is already with Pol much more advanced, because offers a bunch of assistance systems.
The latest Polo has its own 14 exterior colors and a wide range of alloy wheels decided to address younger audience, who wants to be different, individual. Even the exterior offers the possibility of individualization, while the interior can be customized with the help of various decorative elements we increase this individuality even more. The younger generation will really like the digital active information screen or 10.25-inch TFT screen, which is found in the place where the previous Poles had classical gauges. They still have better equipped versions 8-inch radio-navigation screen, which offers a good overview of navigation and loads of fun content, including all smartphone links.
The engine range of the new Polo is extensive and offers enough options that everyone will find a suitable engine for their needs. Liter gasoline engines have since 75 to 115 horsepower. Diesel engines have volume 1.6-liter and they have 80 respectively 95 horsepower. The new Polo will offer factory rebuilt liter TGI engine, which allows driving on Natural Gas. The most sporty performance, Polo GTI, has an engine with two liters volume and jumpy 200 horsepower.
Affordable new Polo it is not excessively expensive from previous models, which is understandable, as it has much more basic equipment than its predecessors. On the Slovenian market, you can buy Polo for 12,591 euros, but if we want the most exciting version of the GTI, we have to shell out for it 22,474 euros. As with the previous generation Polo, two lines are now available Beats and R-Line Edition, which each appeal to customers with their accessories and candies.

We managed to test the new Polo briefly and it surprised us above all the silence of driving on the highway and comfort while driving. You could compare this to that of the Golf, and if that might be too big for you, the Polo will be perfect for you.
