Curious about what everyday footwear made from pineapple and corn looks like? Believe it or not - at first glance, it doesn't differ a bit from ordinary slippers.

Footwear brand Scoots, who makes slippers exclusively from plant material, released her first model after 18 months of hard work – PA1.

The product will convince you not only with its interesting concept, but also with a number of other features - it boasts high level of comfort and resistance, while allowing your feet to they breathe all the time. With the versatile PA1 sneakers you'll be able to use anywhere and anytime, you will feel particularly light, as they weigh less than 0.5 kilograms.

What materials is PA1 actually made of? The material that adorns the upper part of the shoe, the creators obtain from of the green part of the pineapple and corn. The sole is a combination cork and latex, a component of the sap of the rubber tree. We must not forget about cotton inner lining, which provides invaluable comfort.

But that's not all! For every purchase of a pair of footwear and registration of an account on the website, Scoots v Tanzania in cooperation with the organization Forest Nation planted a new tree.

The slippers that the first customers will try on this October, are available in 4 color versions: paprika, charcoal, chocolate and oatmeal. Their pre-sale price is 85 dollars (approx 75 euros).
