H&M's spring 2023 collection invites shoppers on a journey of style and transformation inspired by the mythical island Isla Hennes. Discover an exciting variety of soft tones, bold shapes and tactile textures that encourage experimentation and creativity. Collection is divided into two editions – pre-spring and spring – each containing four stylistic themes that show the possibilities of identity as a spectrum.
The pre-spring collection will be available online and in stores from March 9, 2023 and presents modernly designed dresses with unexpected details. Neo-folk elements emphasize embroidery and sculptural silhouettes, while the 3D expression comes from the clothes like the flowers that bloom on Isla Hennes. A mix of stripes and patterns add a lightness to the collection, while fashionable accessories complement any spring look. Essential pieces include a black vest, cargo pants and a decadently tailored top with puffed sleeves to tie around the waist, as well as a green double-stripe shirt and trousers and a sweet pink horizontal stripe dress with thin straps.
The spring edition takes things to a macro level with larger embroideries, ultra-vibrant prints and tactile crochet. A rich purple mini dress with petal edges is a standout piece, along with a floral print babydoll dress, a white jacket with cut-out sleeves and a warm ocher knit dress with a deep V-neck. Premium fabrics are used throughout the collection, but the price remains affordable.
"At H&M, we see identity as a spectrum of possibilities. We hope that this collection will encourage our customers to travel through different aesthetics and that the sublime and eclectic pieces will inspire them as much as we do,” he says Eliana Masgalos, concept designer.
