The H&M Fall Fashion 2020 collection consists of pieces inspired by beautifully tailored lace dresses from the 1930s, exploring the beauty and innovation of recycled materials. This is another step towards H&M's goal of using only recycled and sustainably sourced materials by 2030.
In the collection H&M Fall Fashion 2020 there are eight pieces available, all with vintage details, such as puffed sleeves and frills and modern, voluminous cuts. In a color palette of off-white and strong black as a contrast, lace, jacquard and wool are made from more sustainably sourced materials, reflecting H&M's ongoing commitment to an increasingly sustainable fashion future.
With a wearable combination – an oversized tailored coat worn over a lace dress with boots – the new season is about finding strength in timeless designs. The H&M Fall Fashion 2020 collection highlights this with mixing vintage silhouettes with trendy modern design in dress lengths ranging from mini to maxi, along with a long double-breasted coat. The entire collection is proudly based on more sustainably sourced materials – recycled polyester, recycled nylon and recycled wool come from textile waste, plastic waste or a mix of these. They give new life to old PET bottles, old clothes or textile scraps. Today, as much as 57 percent of the materials used by the H&M group to make clothes are organic, recycled or otherwise sustainably sourced.
There will be a collection September 10 available in stores worldwide and on hm.com.
