In Ljubljana, we will have the opportunity to hear Bob Dylan, one of the greatest musicians of all time, for the fourth time this year, for the first time in the Stožice hall. On June 25, 2015, he is coming to the Stožice Hall with his band.
Bob Dylan is one of the most important and recognizable musicians of the 20th century, who dictated with his excellent albums and many almost counterfeit compositions not only musically, but the entire social tempo of the 1960s and maintained his status as a top-notch writer of music and lyrics until today, when he has behind him what 36 studio albums and over 120 million records sold. Shadows In The Night's latest album is an album of covers of pop standards and reached the top of the UK charts in its first week. Dylan broke two records with this - at 73, he is the oldest musician to reach number 1 in the UK charts, while it's been a whopping 52 years since his first No. 1 album - 1963's Freewheelin' Bob Dylan.
Dylan has received numerous awards for his musical mission and has been since 1988 member of the Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame. Rolling Stone magazine declared him the the second greatest musician of all time, second only to The Beatles, and his cult piece Like A Rolling Stone for the greatest song of all time. In 2012, US President Barack Obama awarded him the highest state award for his services - medal of freedom and at the same time declared that there is no greater musician in American music.
Dylan plays live more than any other musician of his caliber and has been on his Never Ending Tour since 1988, during which he plays an average of almost 100 concerts a year - a total of over 2,600 performances and the journey has already taken him to Ljubljana three times - in 1991, 1999 and 2010.
