The first real big hit It's Not Unusual is now a 78-year-old top Welsh rock pop singer Tom Jones recorded in 1965, and in the same year he also recorded the song Thunderball, which became the title track of the James Bond film of the same name. And a star was born. This was followed by rushes What's New Pussycat?, Green Green Grass of Home, Delilah, I'll Never Fall in Love Again, She's A Lady and others.
Tom Jones received many awards and recognitions during his career. In 1966 he got Grammy Award for Best New Artist, and in 1989 the Welsh singer received a special honor. He got his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Among other things, he received Brit Awards for Best Male Artist and Outstanding Contribution to Music, and in 2006 the British Queen Elizabeth awarded him for the same reason knight's sign. In 2008, he was inducted into the Hit Parade Hall of Fame, and a year later, the Hungarian magazine Periodika awarded him the title the sexiest man in the world.
