Concert: Foals, Oxford indie rockers, in Vienna

Oxford indie rockers Foals, who released their fourth studio album What Went Down last August, are coming to Vienna at the end of January.

The beginnings of an Oxford indie rock band Foals dates back to 2005 when they are the lead guitarist Yannis Philippakis, drummer and percussionist Jack Bevan, guitarist Jimmy Smith, bassist Walter Gervers and a keyboardist Edwin Congreave formed a band and thus began a successful music career.

Foals has released four studio albums to date: Antidotes (2008), Total Life Forever (2010), Holy Fire (2013) and What Went Down (2015), one video album, six EPs and 19 singles. The band won many awards, including prestigious ones Q Award for Best Live Performance.

The band's last album, which was released last August, is just one more upgrade of the most famous and globally successful Holy Fire album to date, as it is about materials that are even more diverse in genre.
