He will be at his first appearance in Croatia the famous Scottish band Texas with the charismatic Sharleen Spiteri performed with the biggest hits, which made them among the most important pop rock artists of the last 30 years. They sold more than 40 million albums, and they made their debut on them I Don't Wanna Lover and the biggest radio megahits Say What You Want, Black Eyed Boy, Halo, Put Your Arms Around Me, Carnival Girl, In Demand, Inner Smile and Summer Son.
The group was founded in 1986 in Glasgow, and Sharleen Spiteri and Johnny McElhone found inspiration for the name in Wenderson's film Paris, Texas. Already the first single I Don't Wanna Lover, released in 1989, became a big hit, and they had to record 3 studio albums for real international fame. Album White On Blonde (1997) and The Hush (1999) catapulted Texas into the island's biggest musical names, and Sharleen became one of the most recognizable vocalists of the 1990s. In the following years, the band released excellent albums such as Careful What You Wish For (2003) and Red Book (2005). After a brief hiatus and Sharleen's two solo projects, Texas returned with last year's acclaimed album Jump On Board.
