Summer 2015 brings the first urban rock festival Rock In Vienna to Vienna. Old rock will mix with new rock trends and bands of older generations will compete with younger bands. Muse, Metallica, Kiss, Faith No More and Incubus will be among the crowd of rock legends.
Med 4 and 6 June 2015 the island on the Danube (Donauinsel) will vibrate to the rhythms of rock. That is when Vienna organizes the festival for the first time Rock In Vienna. Many of the bands that will be performing are likely to find themselves on many lists of must-hear concerts. Undoubtedly, groups also belong among them Metallica, Muse and Kiss, and also Faith No More, Incubus and Limp Bizkit we could probably add to that. "The list of divers is grandiose. The best in this festival summer," they added.
From March 11, 2015, the first tickets are available for pre-sale, the price of which ranges from from 79.90 euros to 459.90 euros. They are also an interesting thing that they have prepared portable cards for friends and family members. This means that when purchasing a ticket for all three days, visitors actually receive three individual tickets that are transferable. To facilitate the transfer of cards, the organizers have also created a platform on Facebook, which enables visitors to communicate and coordinate visits and exchange cards.

The organizers have prepared for the visitors places for camping and possible rental of tents and necessary equipment. Since the venue is also very well connected to the city center by public transport, visitors can also look for accommodation options in numerous hotels, hostels and apartments. Two stages, on which the performers will alternately present themselves, were placed next to each other by the organizers so that visible from all sides of the island.
The festival is also an opportunity for Austrian rock band, which will compete first on the social network and later in May at a concert, where the best group will be chosen by the audience and the jury. This band will get the chance to perform on the Rock In Vienna stage alongside the biggest names in rock music in the world.
