The cult British electro pop trio The xx, one of the most important island bands of the last few years, will start a short European tour in Zagreb, during which they will present new songs from their as yet untitled third album.
The British trio The xx consists of Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim and Jamie Smith (Jamie XX). They have released two studio albums - the Mercury Prize-winning debut xx (2009) and in 2002 the album Coexist, which sold 2.5 million copies.
After sold out concerts and festivals, including their own Night + Day events in Lisbon, Berlin and London, the band concluded the concert tour with an intimate concert at the Park Avenue Armory in New York. After the Coexist album, Jamie XX released a solo album In Color (2015), which is one of the most important electronic albums in the last two years. The album was nominated for an award grammy in the category of the best electronic dance album and a prize razor for British Album of the Year.

The xx are currently recording third studio album, and since they are coming to Zagreb in the middle of their creative phase, we can expect that the audience will also receive a premiere of new compositions. On this exclusive short tour, the Norwegian artist will warm up the audience Jenny Thank you, which the general public got to know from her albums Innocence Is Kinky (2013) and Apocalypse, Girl (2015).
