Kabum! After the concert presentation of the outstanding album The Something Rain in 2012, the band Tindersticks returns to us for the third time with one of its most ambitious, diverse and polished projects in recent years. The album The Waiting Room will be presented on November 9, 2016 at the Šiška Cinema.
To be honest, they are cast members Tindersticks always created surpluses. With ten albums under their belt and after two decades of musical travel, they sign the best songs of their career. The Waiting Room (released in January this year) is not just an album, it is actually a complete work of art. Each song is accompanied by a short film, a visual interpretation from under the fingers of the directors Christoph Girardet, Pierre Vinour, Claire Denis, Rosie Pedlow and Joe King, Gregorio Graziosi, Richard Dumas and Gabriela Sanne.

Tindersticks released their first record, an elaborate 79-minute double album that ignored the mainstream music scene, in 1993. The self-produced product broke many of the supposed rules of how an album should be made. It received critical acclaim upon its release and began the band's musical adventure that continues to this day.
On the way around the world, the band continued to research and develop their sound, often played with orchestras, provided musical accompaniment for seven films by the renowned director Claire Denis, wrote and recorded many duets, including singing with Lhaso de Sela, Mary Margaret O'Hara and Isabella Rossellini, and created soundscapes for museums and music for art installations. The three original members - Stuart A. Staples, Neil Fraser and David Boulter - were now joined by two more full members, bassist Dan McKinna and percussionist Earl Harvin.
