Many people love to ride underwater scooters, but due to the high price, they cannot often afford this experience. An underwater rocket backpack presents itself as an excellent alternative, the likes of which you have never seen before.
British student Archie O'Brien has developed a rocket backpack Weird, which is made with technology 3D printing. The propulsion device is simply placed on the user's back and the extraordinary experience of gliding through the water can begin.
The innovation, which O'Brien designed as part of a university project, will soon be available for mass production. He collaborated with the company in its creation 3D Hubs.
Particularly impressive is the fact that most of the product's components are manufactured using methods FDM and PLA. These use accessible materials while providing affordable 3D printing.
The 3D printed elements of the rocket backpack are covered with epoxy resin. It is also used in the production process silicon, which is intended to protect the battery from water.
The creators are also excited about resistance your creations. Although the prototype was left in water for several months during testing, it showed no signs of leakage or decomposition.
