David Bowie is undeniably one of the most unique and influential rock stars and, according to a BBC poll, the greatest entertainer of the 20th century. Although he sadly passed away three years ago after a battle with cancer, there is no end in sight to the revival of the legend. Now Vans has paid tribute to him with a limited collection of David Bowie x Vans sneakers.
They will get a David Bowie skin four models of Vans sneakers: Slip-On 47 V DX, Era, Old Skool and Sk8-Hi. Each sneaker in a limited collection David Bowie x Vans will have exclusive graphics, which will allude to one of the musician's famous works, including Hunky Dory, Space Oddity and Alladin's Sane.
The collection will also be full unique materials and accents, not found on other Vans sneaker styles including artificial fur on the brand's iconic checkerboard, bright yellow suedes and embroidered bowie lightning bolt. The collection should be available from April 5, and the sneakers should cost overestimated between 58 and 76 euros.
