This year was not what we expected for the vast majority and brought more sadness than joy, and now we all can't wait to consign it to history. The somewhat good news is that some people have not lost their sense of humor and still try to create interesting content. That is why today we draw your attention to the trailer of a new documentary, i.e. a parody of the documentary genre with the symbolic name Death to 2020.
It is a Netflix film, which is behind Charlie Brooker, the creator of the popular series Black Mirror, and in which several well-known actors appear in the role of "experts", who analyze the past year, each from their own point of view. They are among them Samuel L. Jackson, Lisa Kudrow, Leslie Jones, Hugh Grant, Kumail Nanjiani, Tracy Alman, Christine Miliotti, Samson Cayo, Diana Morgan and Joe Curie. Al Campbell directed, with Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones serving as executive producers. The creators of the Black Mirror series said that they didn't even have to film the new season this year, because the reality is that even they couldn't have invented it themselves.
The idea of the film is to create a fake documentary in which the actors try to present the real events of this year without hesitation. We all have our own view of this year, for which we don't have many nice words, so the points of view and the view that the film brings are interesting. The goal is quite clear! To make the audience laugh despite the bitter facts and help everyone say goodbye to this year once and for all.
