This year, Poland will get a unique attraction: the deepest pool in the world! The Deepspot, which is scheduled to open this fall in the town of Mszczonów near Warsaw, will measure as much as 45 meters deep, and 8,000 cubic meters of water will go into it, which is 27 times more than a normal pool with a depth of 25 meters.
Swimming pool Deepspot should have crystal clear water, which will give divers the feeling "that they are wandering in space and not in water". There will be water in the pool warmer as in normal pools, so neoprene will not be needed. Since the pool will have several different depths, divers will be able to trained for different conditions, it will be possible to dive with instructors, complete a comprehensive diving training, and those who snorkel will be able to experiment in unique conditions.
Although Poland is not really a popular place for diving, they hope this pool will change that. It will be possible to dive here on any day of the year. Divers should have the feeling that they are in the sea or ocean, except that the conditions will be perfect. Those who do not want to dive will have it at their disposal underwater tunnel, through which they will be able to look at the pool, as well as conference and hotel rooms, which will look inside the pool.
The company has a bigger challenge ahead of it. The construction of such a deep pool is extremely demanding, and it will also be difficult to maintain crystal clear water and for this it will be necessary advanced filtering system. Deepspot is a project of the Flyspot brand, which manages wind tunnels in Warsaw and Katowice. While the company says the pool will open as early as this fall, no date has been confirmed.
