Design Month 2017 is coming, a month when we dedicate ourselves to everything beautiful in the field of design, home, design and creation. This year it will take place between October 17 and November 17, and the leading theme will be progress.
Ljubljana design month researches, evaluates and promotes important achievements in the field of design at home and in the world. Every year it marks the design scene and encourages an interdisciplinary dialogue between companies with a design vision and designers with an entrepreneurial strategy. His mission is increase the competitiveness of the economy and society, therefore, with the planned establishment of business-creative synergies, it encourages development thinking and processes that lead to better services and products.
The central event of the design month is presented formal evening opening by presenting the National Design Awards. Since 2003, Design Month with them has been critically evaluating the relevant achievements of the profession, questioning the effectiveness of Slovenian design and drawing attention to design and creative potential.
Design Month 2017 will be held between October 17 and November 17.
