The Detroit Auto Show has served up another treat for American car enthusiasts. If the Ford Mustang is a noble stallion, the Shelby GT500 is its evil version, worthy of the rider of the apocalypse itself.

For the first time in history it happened that Shelby does not offer manual gearbox, but only 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. There are rumors that a manual transmission will also be available later, but they are not too believable. The design of the new Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is noticeable from afar. Sharp edges have emphasized the already prominent figure even more, 6-piston Brembo brakes, 16.5 inches large front brakes and 20-inch and the rims add a finishing touch. Shelby has more than 700 horsepower, which it produces 5.2 liter V8 cylinder, to which it is also attached 2.7 liter pressure charger. The GT500 is the first Mustang to transport a quarter of a mile (400 meters) below the border 10 seconds and it has a baje several aerodynamic improvements and additions, as a passenger plane Boeing 747, or Jumbo Jet.
