The New York Auto Show brought us a treat in the form of an exotic hypercar. The Deus Vayanne has over 2,200 horsepower and 2,000 newton meters of torque.
Deus Automobiles is an Austrian start-up company that was only founded in 2020. Their main goal is to produce niche electric hypercars. Their established partners ensure that it is not just another newcomer to the car game, Italdesign and Williams Advanced Engineering. The former represent the concept of automotive design, while the latter bring engineering knowledge and experience from the world of motorsport.
The external image of Deus Vayanna is best described through the design language of symmetry and infinity. Symbol for infinity it is a central design element that can be seen in the front air intake, the shape of the rear lights and even the shape of the dashboard. The interior of the two-seater is served with digital gauges, a central touch screen and a bunch of "airplane" switches.
The electric muscle car is powered by an electric motor that supplies just 1,640 kW of power (2,230 HP) and enormous 2,000 newton meters of torque. To accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h should only need 1.99 seconds and reached top speed 400 km/h. 1,810 kilograms the heavy hypercar will have enough energy for up to one charge 500 kilometers a long way. Deus Vayanne will be available in a limited edition 99 specimens, but only these should be available to customers during the year 2025.
