DIY cookies in a jar
Ingredients
- 115 g plain flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 150 g of raisins
- 165 g of oatmeal
- 125 g of light brown sugar
- vanilla pod
Directions
- In a clean, dry 750 ml glass, carefully fold the ingredients in order, starting with the flour. Place the vanilla pod inside or tie it around the lid with a cheek ribbon. Also include a paper with baking instructions.
- Write the following on the gift tag: To bake the cookies, heat the oven to 180ºC. Open the jar and carefully pour the sugar into the mixing bowl with 115 g of softened butter. You cut the vanilla pod, scrape out the seeds, add it to a bowl, and then beat it all together with an electric mixer to a fluffy texture. Mix in the large egg and combine the rest and mix until smooth. Place the dough in the refrigerator for half an hour, then spoon it onto a lined baking sheet. Flatten slightly.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the cookies are golden on the edges but soft in the center. Leave on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool.
