DJI's latest drone, the DJI Mavic Mini, is also the smallest and lightest the company has ever produced.
DJI has just revealed the newest member of his Mavic lines. Foldable Mavic Mini it is not significantly larger in size than today's smartphones and weighs only 249 grams. It is currently available for pre-order, and the first customers will receive it on November 11. The Mavic Mini will go on sale for 399 euros complete with remote control, one battery and a set of extra propellers. Of course, the already known one is also available the Fly More package, which costs 499 euros and includes propeller guards, three batteries, a case, a controller and three sets of additional propellers.
Unfortunately, due to its small size, one of the trade-offs is a camera that only records video in resolution 2.7K, which is about 40 percent higher than FHD, but not quite 4K. On the other hand, it has a camera 12MP and superior stability thanks to the gimbal. Another compromise is that it has a Mavic Mini fewer collision avoidance sensors like other DJI drones, which means it may be easier to crash into a tree or electrical wiring.
DJI promises that the included batteries will keep it in the air for up to 30 minutes. He also has a mini 2.5-kilometer range, a newly designed remote control and stable hovering thanks to GPS.
