Rudolf Hauschka thought for a long time about his own line of cosmetic products, with which he would complement the selection of medicines and which would serve as a kind of extension in the field of preparations for maintaining healthy skin.
His ideas began to be realized concretely only after he met Elisabeth Sigmund from Vienna, who ordered the production of cosmetic products that she herself had developed from the WALA company. The cosmetologist, who lived in Stockholm at the time, traveled to Eckwälden, where, in cooperation with medicine experts, she developed recipes for facial care that were already in line with today's standards in the field of natural cosmetics. Together, they found solutions in the field of cream bases that were stable and without chemically synthesized emulsifiers, and created scent mixtures with the help of natural essential oils.
