Carnival days in Ljubljana are marked every year by the Dragon Carnival (2019), which will also this year offer a carnival procession and an entertainment program. We will admire traditional, ethnological, children's and many other carnival masks, which will walk around the city center - they will additionally brighten the carnival Saturday with their unique performances on the Congress Square.
Dragon Carnival 2019 it encompasses a lot a carnival procession through the city streets and an entertainment program on the Congress Square. In the procession, among others characteristic masks from pagan folk tradition are performed, such as curents, laufars, morostari and others. We will also be able to see children's, traditional and ethnologically colored carnival masks and others organized groups of masks.
Dragon Carnival 2019 will start at 11 o'clock, namely he will start from Nové trg across Šuštarski most to Mestni trg, then it will turn to Stritarjevo Street and Prešernov Square and drove on after Wolfov Street to Congress Square, where the groups will be presented and performed their performance.
