Nine exciting performances, nine stories, nine acting ensembles, conversations with creators and debates about the paths of the theater, socializing and dancing. All this and more is the Drama Festival, which arose out of the desire "to present the achievements of the theaters with which we cooperate", said the director of Ljubljana Drama, Igor Samobor. During the festival week, Drama thus becomes the intersection of theater crowds, curves and lines, people and stories.

The festival will be opened by a performance Marina Ambramović or how I lost my way to Antigone. The play is the fourth project in the cycle, which is symbolically driven by Brecht's idea of wildlife protection: "The biggest enemy of wild elephants is domesticated elephants."

As they wrote, the basic impetus for the staging research of the play Marina Abramović or how I lost my way to Antigone was "an ethical knot that crosses contemporary artistic and political practice on the slope, which Alain Badiou rhythmized as a "passion for the real" through questions" "I" and "we", through questions of the singular and the collective. Since the postmodern is also a mask of myth and class struggle, Antigone's action and the performative ontology of the contemporary artist Marina Abramović were placed in the landscape of the research.

After the opening performance, in the following days of the Drama Festival, we will be able to see five more modern no dramas; Wardrobe; Some messages to the universe; All about Ivan; How do you say what you played; MandićMachine; The Three Sisters and Hamlet.
