Do you often run out of ideas for coloring Easter eggs? Do you paint and decorate them the same way year after year? Maybe you see your "friends" on social media posting photos of perfect eggs? We have ideas for you how to paint Easter eggs in a slightly different way. Make Easter cakes in an original way.

Most often, you choose the traditional way to dye your eggs in a store-bought color or dye them with a bee, right?

Be different this year, there are many techniques for dyeing Easter eggs and we present some of them to you.

Of course, first boil the eggs and cool them.

Easter coloring with rice

Put two tablespoons of rice, a teaspoon of egg dye and half a teaspoon of alcohol vinegar into a plastic bag or plastic cup. Cover the jar and shake it to distribute the color over the rice.
It is best to use egg whites for this technique. You put the egg in a cup with rice, cover it and shake it slightly so that the colored rice touches the whole egg. When you take the egg out of the cup or bag, you'll notice a beautiful polka dot decoration - a really special pattern, completely different from what you're used to.
You can also combine colors with this technique. For example, put an already dyed egg in yellow in a glass of blue rice and maybe in a cup of red rice. You will get a really colorful Easter fairy tale.

Mosaic on an egg

All you need is egg dye, scissors and electrical tape.
First, paint the egg in the desired color, for example red. While the paint is drying, cut the insulation tape into the appropriate shapes as shown in the video. Stick the pieces of electrical tape on the egg, but leaving an empty space between the pieces, then paint the egg a different color, for example blue. When the egg is dry, peel off the pieces of insulating tape and you will have beautiful mosaics.

Red eggs

Use cherry juice! Put juice, a little salt and vinegar in a container. You boil the eggs, and when they cool down, you take them out of the water and brush them with oil. Simple.
You can also use ground red pepper. Put four spoons of ground paprika in a liter of water, a little salt and vinegar, and boil the eggs in it. Be careful not to use hot peppers!

Soft pastel colors using cake paints

You need to use white eggs for this process because the dark shell cannot absorb the soft pastel shades.

Pour 200 ml of water, 1 tablespoon of vinegar and 1 tablespoon of the desired cake color into the cups (as many different colors as you like). Stir to combine everything well, then place an egg in each jar of paint. Hold until you get the desired shade. You can check by occasionally taking the egg out of the cup with a spoon.
When you get the desired shades, remove the eggs and let them dry completely. If you wish, you can wipe them with a cotton ball dipped in a little oil.
