Behind the project Eclipse are top Malian musicians Miriam and Amadou. Everyone who heard them live leaves the concert happy and satisfied, because their energy is simply contagious. Unlike their "typical" concerts, Eclipse will take place in total darkness. For what? Because Miriam and Amadou are blind. Amadou went blind at fifteen and Mariam at five. They met at the Institute for the Blind in Bamako and fell in love. They also successfully translate their shared love into the language of music. Temporary blindness will sharpen our remaining senses. That way we will be able to feel their music the way Miriam and Amadou feel it. We will experience their story, travel through the darkness and see the "new light". We will be accompanied on our journey by excellent African musicians, singers and storytellers. How will we experience music without a visible stimulus? We can find the answer ourselves, by attending a concert with added value, because we will be "merely" moved by the music. Attendance is mandatory for inquisitive music connoisseurs
