EICMA 2025 was not just a trade fair, but a vibrant moto festival. From BMW's little F 450 GS to Ducati's revamped DesertX, from the first electric Honda WN7 to the return of Norton - all accompanied by MotoGP stars, the smell of food, beautiful girls and that energy that the automotive world has long lost.

EICMA 2025 (November 4-9) was not just a showcase of new motorcycles. It was proof that the motorcycling world is still alive – and with a full heart. While car shows are making a living with digital “concepts” and heartless presentations, EICMA still smells of reality: for fuel, for coffees from the yard Milan Fair, after the crowds in front of the pavilions, where MotoGP stars mingle, test drives, concerts and of course legendary girls EICMA – probably the most beautiful hostesses on the planet.

I went there this year for a very specific reason – to choose my first serious motorcycle. And while I admired the latest electric and “premium” machines, my heart took me elsewhere: Royal Enfield Himalayan 400. Genuine, mechanical, just raw. But first, next year I'll start more modestly, with Benelli BKX 125 cc, as an entry-level engine with which I set myself 10,000 kilometers in one year – before I sit on the Himalayan. Not as a goal, but as a process.

EICMA 2025: 10 motorcycles that will mark 2026

1. BMW F 450 GS – "baby GS" that doesn't want to be a toy

BMW has unveiled its new F 450 GS – for the first time in series production. 420 cm³ twin-cylinder with 48 hp (36 kW), 43 Nm torque and a weight of around 178 kg. The model is aimed at the A2 class, but does not skimp on character: TFT display, electronic assistance systems and “Easy Ride Clutch” for easy city driving. This is not just an entry-level GS – this is the “GS for every day”.

2. Ducati DesertX (new generation) – raw, lighter, more powerful

Ducati has stripped the DesertX of some of its glamour and added more real adventure. 110 hp (81 kW), 92 Nm, 206 kg and a new, more compact chassis. The 2026 model will be a more serious off-roader – less boutique, more dust and adrenaline.

3. Honda WN7 – the first “real” electric Honda

The Honda WN7 is a game changer: a 9.3 kWh battery, a range of around 140 km, a 20–80 % charge in 30 minutes, power up to 50 kW (68 hp) and torque of 100 Nm. With this, Honda showed that electric power is no longer a side project, but a serious direction.

4. Suzuki SV-7GX – the return of a legend with a digital touch

The new incarnation of the SV-series retains the 645 cc V-twin with 73 PS (53.7 kW) and 64 Nm of torque, but adds a TFT display, quickshifter and SIRS riding modes. A “Crossover” with character – sport-touring, accessible, with a soul.

5. CFMOTO 1000MT-X – Eastern power for a Western price

CFMOTO, once synonymous with affordable entry-level models, has officially entered the “big league” of touring and adventure motorcycles with the 1000MT-X. The new 948cc parallel twin engine developed by the brand without KTM's help (although the partnership continues), develops 83 kW (113 hp) and 105 Nm of torque.
The engine boasts a weight of approximately 222 kg, which means it's only a shade heavier than BMW's F 900 GS, but significantly cheaper – around 10.000 €.

The aesthetics are convincingly European: sharp LED lighting, robust engine protection, 22.5-liter tank and high windshield create the impression of a serious long-distance machine. The electronics package includes ride-by-wire, quickshifter, ABS in cornering, multiple driving modes, heated grips and seat, and a 7-inch TFT display with navigation.

The CFMOTO 1000MT-X is no longer a “copy”, but a confident product with a clear goal: to compete with European adventurers with a lower price, but without compromising on equipment. Its slogan “Adventure Without Borders” is not an empty phrase – this is a bike that will convince those who want rideability, performance and range (around 450 km) without overpaying for the logo.

If BMW and Ducati had a child raised in Shenzhen, this would be it CFMOTO 1000MT-X – surprisingly convincing, well-built and ready to disrupt the “big adventure” segment.

6. Zero LS1 – an electric city scooter with character

Zero, known for its electric superbikes, surprised with the LS1 – an urban scooter that reaches 100 km/h, offers more than 100 km of range and the option of replaceable batteries. The perfect “city” solution with a price tag of around €5,000.

7. Kawasaki Versys 1100 – a travel “tank” with intelligence

Kawasaki has added muscle to the Versys: 1,099 cc, 135 PS (~133 hp) and a new generation of connectivity (voice commands, navigation, smart suspension). For those who want to cover the miles in style.

8. Norton Manx R and Atlas - British Renaissance

Under the TVS umbrella, Norton is back with full force: Manx R with 1,200 cc V4 and more than 200 hp, Atlas and Atlas GT and for those who swear by “heritage”. The British have finally woken up – and loudly. More about we wrote about it at this link.

9. Royal Enfield 125 years – a tradition that still sells dreams

Royal Enfield has expanded its range to celebrate its 125th anniversary with Bullet 650 and Classic 650 – and hinted at the arrival Himalayan 750The Indian brand remains the global romantic of motorcycling, but now it is also increasingly modern.

10. Yamaha YZF-R7 (2026) – when sportiness becomes understandable

The R7 gets a new TFT, richer electronics and an improved chassis. Not as extreme as the R1, not as boring as the MT-07 – but just right for the everyday “track day” romantic.

Personally, I was extremely impressed...

RIEJU, the renowned Spanish motorcycle manufacturer, presents its latest masterpiece – the SCRAMBLER 607. It is a motorcycle that combines the timeless elegance of classic motorcycles from the 60s with the latest technology and the characteristic RIEJU character.

Rieju Aventura 125

Photo: Jan Macarol / The author of this article rides a motorcycle that can handle even heavy beginners. He himself is 183 cm tall and weighs over 90 kilograms.

The Rieju Aventura 125 is one of the most “adult” 125cc trails for the A1 category: a liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with a maximum of 11–15 hp (8.9–11 kW), a 6-speed gearbox and 18″/17″ wheels with ABS brakes (260/240 mm) give it confidence on the road and gravel, while a low 780 mm seat and approximately 138 kg of weight make it accessible even to taller beginners. With a 14-liter tank, upside-down front fork, rear monoshock and standard luggage rack, this is a small “ADV” that doesn’t look small and easily transports your daily routine or weekend getaway on white roads.

Benelli BKX 125 (2025)

Benelli BKX 125 (2025) is a “little adventure” for the A1 exam: a liquid-cooled 125 cm³ single-cylinder with a maximum of 11 kW (15 hp) and 12 Nm, a 6-speed gearbox, 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels with wire rims, ABS and a 41 mm upside-down fork. With a 12-liter tank, a weight of around 148 kg and an adjustable seat height (830/855/880 mm), it feels surprisingly “grown-up” – comfortable enough for everyday use and robust enough for weekend gravel.

Conclusion: EICMA 2025 as a moto-universe

If I had to EICMO To describe it in one word, it would be energy. This is not a showcase fair, but a living mix of noise, smells, ideas and people. In one day you see the future of electricity, meet a MotoGP legend, eat a prosciutto panini, smile at the hostesses and feel that motorcycling is still emotion.

EICMA 2025 is not just a technical exhibition. It is lifestyle event, which shows what car showrooms should look like – with soul, authenticity, and concrete contact between machine and human.
The next time you wonder why the motorcycle world won't give up, remember this show. The heart of gasoline still beats there - whether it has a battery or not.
