The electric Hyundai Kona is among the first to combine electric mobility with off-road styling. It sets a different philosophy among electric cars, because now we can drive longer, and for the average user we have enough energy available for daily needs.
At first glance, yes electric Hyundai Kona not much different from the internal combustion engine versions. The electrified Kona will have 7 body colors and 3 roof colors, which means 21 possible exterior combinations. They are still here 17-inch futuristic shaped rims, black inserts in the rear of the car and a modified front part, which instead of air intakes has an opening for connection to the electrical network.
The interior offers new 7- or 8-inch information display and projection screen, which displays information in the driver's field of vision. Although the interior is also very similar to the Kona with the classic engine, it works in an electric version even more modern and you can think of it in black or a three-color combination of gray and blue. Despite the battery, the electric Kona has it available 322 liters of luggage space, which can be increased to 1114 liters.
The most important thing about the electric Hyundai Kona is, of course powertrain. We have available two batteries, smaller, with capacity 39.2 kWh, which is connected to the motor s 100 kW (136 hp) power and has range 312 kilometers. A larger battery has capacity 64 kWh and engine with 150 kW (204 hp) powers. The range that can be done with a larger battery is quite 482 kilometers. If we charge both versions at a fast charger that has 100 kW charging power, they can be charged up to 80 % in mere 54 minutes. Charging with power 7.2 kW will charge the smaller battery in 6 hours and 10 minutes, and a larger one in 9 hours and 35 minutes.
That the Hyundai Kona has everything besides modern technologies a bunch more security equipment and assistance systems, probably goes without saying, but the list of accessories does rich already at basic version of the electric Kona. The electric Kona with a smaller battery is available from 34,800 euros further, and the one with a larger battery from 41,000 euros further. It should be emphasized that the Eko subsidy amounts to 7,500 euros, it is not included in the price. Electric Hyundai Kona is already available at Hyundai dealers.
