Ways of attaching wreaths to the front door
Decorative tape
One of the most popular methods is a decorative ribbon that is wrapped around the ring of the wreath and pulled up and inside the door. We stick it to the inner door leaf with a stronger adhesive tape, which we have to make sure will not damage the surface in the long term. It is recommended to cover the background of the wreath with soft felt.
Vacuum suction
The vacuum suction cup is an elegant solution for attaching wreaths to the door, which at the same time allows it to be moved as desired. It works best on more modern aluminum doors, but does not last long on glass or wooden door leaf surfaces. In this case, it is better to choose a decorative tape.
Hook for hanging
The most classic way is still fixing with hooks for hanging towels, while we must be careful that the glue is not too strong and does not damage the surface of the door leaf, especially if we will have the wreath attached to the door for several months.
A magnet
Recently, the attachment of wreaths with a strong magnet has become more and more popular, especially abroad. We attach a magnet to the outside and inside of the front door, which holds the wreath firmly on both sides. Such a solution is best suited for thinner, preferably glass front doors.
