The Korn Ferry Hay Group conducted an extensive study comparing men and women in the area of emotional intelligence and how the latter contributes to successful leadership. The main findings are that women performed better than men in eleven out of twelve competencies. An area where most men outperformed women is in the area of emotional self-control.
And what can such people do for us findings on the emotional intelligence of women and men say? That women are also better equipped to work with people due to their more developed emotional intelligence? And if we dig further, that's why women are too better in leadership positions? Of course, there is no unequivocal answer to this.

Although such research is eloquent and can serve us as a tool for correcting various social mechanisms and systems, their purpose is in no way to achieve (an even greater) the divide between men and women.
