All fans of top audiovisual art are invited to watch the best European masterpieces of this year in Piran between November 27 and 30. The European and Mediterranean Film Festival (FEMF) 2019 will serve up selected names from the world of film, and this year even more so, as it celebrates its 10th anniversary.
During the four festival days, visitors will be able to Festival of European and Mediterranean Film (FEMF) 2019 just watched 25 movies, in five different sections. In the competition section, you will be impressed by selected films from the largest international festivals, such as Cannes, Berlin and Venice, directed by Roman Polanski, Ken Loach, Marco Bellocchio, Francois Ozon, Fatih Akin, Abel Ferrara, Hirokazu Koreeda, Arnaud Desplechin and some others. In addition to the competitive part, you will also be able to enjoy the section European masters (selected films from the best film festivals), children's and youth educational films (school education section). This year will be the country in focus Italy, with five pearls of Italian cinema.
Film screenings will take place in the Tartini Theater and Mediadom Pyrhani, but all of them will be free of charge, including the opening and closing ceremonies. European and Mediterranean Film Festival 2019 is not only an opportunity to see the highlights of Mediterranean audiovisual art for free, but also a great excuse to expanding horizons and film culture, for which no payment is required, just some free time in Piran, the pearl of the Slovenian seaside.
