Forests are part of the nation's natural wealth, which they want to preserve in Radenska for future generations. In order to help forests adapt to climate change, in cooperation with the Slovenian Forestry Institute, they designed a campaign to plant 10,000 new trees.
V Radenski ADRIATIC adopted a sustainable strategy this year, with which they made a long-term commitment to a green and better future. The first step in this direction is represented by the forest restoration campaign "Greener Slovenia". Between August and October, Radenska will contribute to the planned goal - planting 10,000 new trees in Slovenian forests. The forests will be restored by planting seedlings of native tree species adapted to the habitat. As part of the campaign, there will be planting of saplings oak age, black poplar and willow restored 2.3 ha of damaged forests.
As an increasingly strong regional player, Radenska ADRIATIC is also planning a similar forest restoration campaign in Croatia. In cooperation with the scout association within the Boranka project, 10,000 trees will be planted in autumn in the most critical areas of Dalmatia, where forests have been affected by devastating fires in the past period.
