Twenty of the world's best architects and designers came together to create beautiful houses for children, which were auctioned at the end of last year to raise funds for the KIDS charity.
Project construction company Cathedral Group was inspired by a dollhouse Edwin Lutyens from 1922, which used the traditional children's toy to showcase outstanding British architecture, craftsmanship, art and interior design. So they invited a group of contemporary architects and designers, together with artists and other creative people create modern houses for children.
The red thread of the project was charity to the KIDS organization, which provides support for children with special needs, young people and their families. Therefore, the task of the creators was to design houses with at least one element that makes everyday life easier for children with special needs. This was followed by a public exhibition in one of the oldest auction houses in the world, Bonhams, where they collected almost 90,000 pounds.
