The exhibition Aleš Bravničar: Goddesses is a series of sensual images created in the most intimate corners of the world. It will be on display in Cankarjev dom from February 27 to April 19.
Photographer, director of photography and director Aleš Bravničar, winner of the Slovenia Press Photo award and author of numerous international exhibitions, has his own photographic journey through the wonderful world of boudoir and erotica started twenty years ago. His cinematic approach and carefully trained eye for even a tiny ray of light gave birth to a series of extremely sensual images, which Bravničar photographed for years in the most intimate corners of the world and regularly published in most of the world's most famous men's magazines and on the walls of famous galleries around the world – from Triennale in Milan to the galleries The Mall in London and in the set Art Basel in Miami.
"I want to show myself the raw and primal power of women, as the goddesses Athena, Nike and Hera were known to the ancient Greeks thousands of years before the superhero comic franchises of Marvel and DC." Aleš adds.
