ExoLung: a revolution in the diving world

Traditional diving requires a lot of preparation, experience and training, and above all, expensive technical equipment and a lot of permits and certificates. All this may soon change with the ExoLung.

The Australian startup has introduced ExoLung, which they say will revolutionize the diving world. Similar to a classic diving cylinder, the ExoLung also has one container, in which it is stored air. The system works with the help of a diver who draws air from by swimming in and out of the ExoLung. As the legs stretch, ExoLung is pumping fresh air from an extension cord floating at sea level. When the legs contract, the air contracts squeezes and is available to the diver. The ExoLung is available in several versions, and each of them is intended for a different one requirements diving.

If you want to dive in the coastal zone, up to about 7 meters depth, and you still don't have enough experiences, ExoLung may be the right solution for you. Currently, the system is still in prototypical phase, but if they find a suitable manufacturing and marketing partner, the device will have to be deducted between 300 and 500 euros and you will already be able to dive.
