Because you only live once, travel like James Bond.
James Bond, the famous secret agent is synonymous with an exciting life full of luxury and gorgeous beauties. Therefore, it is not surprising that many want to step into his shoes, at least for a few days. Now it is possible.
Luxury travel company Black Tomato has teamed up with the official 007 franchise to announce themed tours that will take fans away from filming destinations in style. In the 1960s, the franchise strung together the series more or less exotic locations, from Jamaica, Cuba, to Iceland and Hong Kong.
Accordingly, several different glamor travel packages will be available, the first of which will be a 12-day guided tour called The Assignment: Europe. But this luxury trip with the motto "Bond's world, your adventure" will be anything but convenient. It will be available for just under 70,000 euros.
And how does James Bond travel?
Judge for yourself how justified the price is. The journey follows and faithfully recreates the missions and adventures of the most famous secret agent in history. The adventure begins in London, where they filmed a series of shots for the first part of the franchise - Dr. Well (1962). In cooperation with film producers, the travel agency paid attention to even the smallest details.
Arriving in London by private Range Rover, you are taken to the base of operations: the Corinthia London Hotel. The first mission takes you to the Thames, where you will board the Superhawk 34, piloted by Cigar Girl as in The World Is Not Enough (1999).
On the second day, your driver will take you to Rules - the oldest London restaurant you know from the movie Specter (2015). Of course, dressed appropriately, you'll take part in a martini-making masterclass with the head bartender, who has also worked on recent Bond films.
On the third day, you will be trained by stuntman Lee Morrison, who worked on the last five Bond films. Together, you will master the boxing skills of fighting and falling - which will come in handy in the following days. You will drive in an Aston Martin and dine at a famous London restaurant in Hamilton Place, and you will also become a VIP guest of a private gambling club.
The second act of your Bond adventure continues in Paris, the third in Monaco, the fourth on Lake Como, and the last takes place in Venice. The itinerary remains just as exciting and follows the film saga, but of course there is no shortage of great food, private jets and tours of the destinations where Bond was filmed. Each station brings a new task, and each part of the journey is inspired by a movie quote.
